Exhibition of students’ didactic items
In the newly equipped 3D printing classroom, on April 29, 2024, an exhibition of students’ items created during the extracurricular activity “3D Modeling and Printing” was held. The exhibition was conducted by the technical culture teacher Miroslav Kukec, with the assistance of students participating in the extracurricular activity.
The extracurricular activity 3D Modeling and Printing is designed to give students the opportunity to independently model, design, technically shape, and create various items that will serve them in everyday life. In this way, it fosters a positive attitude toward work and contributes to the personal development of students. This activity encourages entrepreneurial thinking in students, as it is intended to be organized in the form of a traditional workshop that, among other things, offers the service of creating various didactic tools for other teachers at the school (e.g., creating 3D models for technical culture, 3D models and equipment for chemistry, 3D geometric shapes for mathematics, 3D relief models for geography, etc.). For the needs of this activity, the classroom has been equipped with the appropriate tools and technologies such as 3D printers, computers for 3D modeling, and more.
At this exhibition, in addition to the created items, students could also see the PRUSA printers purchased as part of the project and try out the programs used for modeling.
