Open Day at the Observatory

On April 30, 2024, a two-hour observation of the night sky was held for interested students using a telescope. Under the expert guidance and commentary of astronomy teacher Alan Dedić, students observed planets, several globular and open clusters, galaxies, planetary nebulae, and binary star systems.

Before the observation, students were introduced to the basics of telescope operation and the apparent movement of the sky and celestial objects. During and after the observation, various topics were discussed, ranging from the possibility of life in space, conditions for its development, the origin and end of the universe, and its size.
