The workshop “Instructional Design”

The workshop “Instructional Design” took place on January 19th, 20th, and 21st, 2023, at the premises of the II Elementary School Varaždin. The workshop was led by lecturers Snježana Šlabek and Lydia Zaric from the partner organization 2 – NT Gruppen AS.

The Instructional Design training was conducted through three interactive and connected workshops. By gradually familiarizing themselves with design thinking and instructional design methods, teachers from the school were equipped to design dynamic e-learning content.

During the first day of the workshop, participants were introduced to the basic principles and phases of the design thinking method, which they would be able to use in creating new projects in the future. The second day focused on understanding the concept and phases of instructional design in the development of online learning content. Participants learned to connect design thinking with instructional design. The third day of the workshop was dedicated to practical work. Through practical team and individual work, participants independently created an e-learning course using both learned methods – design thinking and instructional design. At the end of the day, teachers presented their completed works.
